Registration

Course Registration

Students have received their registration cards and copies of the curriculum guide through their RAMS period. Please review the available information with your child to ensure that they carefully consider their course options for next year.

Students will also have the opportunity to complete this process over the next several weeks in Student Services during their Language Arts classes.

If you will be in the 9th grade at Lake Mary High School for the 2024-2025 school year, the presentation below contains some valuable information regarding the registration for classes and the selection of electives.

  • Step #1 Verify your address is zoned to attend Lake Mary High by clicking on the link below:

                        SCPS School Zone Search

  • Step #2 Complete the Google Form if you are a new student to our district, coming from a private or charter school or a current SCPS student who recently moved into our zone.

             **2025-2026 Registration Form***

Once you have completed step #2 a member of our registration team will reach out to you via email to the email address you provided with information to complete the registration process.

Three (3) Proof of Residency Required:

Living Arrangement: Owned residence (www.scpafl.org) or Current lease or rental agreement (Address MUST match on all documents)
Current Utility bill (water or electric) or initial order for service
Driver's License ( www.flhsmv.gov) OR auto registration OR voter's registration card (ONLY need one of the three)
     ***Address MUST match on ALL Documents***

Student Records Needed:

  1. Withdrawal Form (previous school)
  2. Transcripts: current grades or other academic history
  3. Florida Certificate of Immunization (Form 680) - available from any health office or physician in State of Florida. Seminole County Health Department - 400 W. Airport Blvd, Sanford, FL., 407- 665- 3000.
  4. Birth Certificate
  5. Physical (First Time entering Florida public school) - physical exam must be completed within one year prior to enrollment. Health form must be signed and dated by physician and who results of examination. Cannot be a simple statement from a physician.
  6. If applicable - current IEP/EP, Psychological/Placement Papers
  7. Extenuating circumstance not covered above may require additional documentation.

Enrollment

As a public school system, we welcome all students who live within the district's boundaries and meet state age and health requirements. For specific enrollment information, please visit SCPS Enrollment Resources. If you need to find out which school your child will attend, please use the School Finder to look up the attendance boundaries for your address. 

  • In Seminole County Public Schools (SCPS), students can be enrolled by their parent or legal guardian, provided they meet the age and residency requirements. For elementary schools within specific zones, a School Choice application is required for assignment before enrollment. Generally, students must be residents of either Seminole or Orange counties to participate in programs like Seminole State's Dual Enrollment

  • This Curriculum Guide is the beginning point for making wise course choices. In utilizing the available resources at LMHS, don't hesitate to seek assistance from teachers, school counselors and administrators. Carefully consider academic decisions that affect your future, both personally and professionally. Students are free to select a variety of courses, so consider your future plans and pursue courses that are necessaryand interesting. Remember, your actions today set the direction for your future tomorrow.

  • To enroll in person as a student at Lake Mary High School in Florida, you must first confirm that your home address is zoned for the school. Then, gather the required documents, including proof of residency, academic records, and health records such as immunization and a recent physical exam. Once you have all necessary paperwork, please call to set an appointment.  Once your appointment is confirmed, visit the school at 655 Longwood Lake Mary Rd., Lake Mary, FL 32746, and once you are signed in, you will go to Student Services.
