Lake Mary High School is committed to the development of the 21st Century student by providing rigorous courses that foster intellectual curiosity. Students will build expertise through integrated technology within a blended curriculum in which they will utilize creative and critical thinking skills. Students will be provided with opportunities to engage in diverse content areas that encourage entrepreneurship and leadership.

Lake Mary High School is committed to the students’ personal development by utilizing curriculum that will focus on individual character and needs. Each course will provide strategies for students to learn the importance of collaboration and learning. Students will have the opportunity to explore future career interests through a diverse selection of electives that are relevant and valuable for an ever-changing society. Individuals will demonstrate personal integrity, the highest standards of behavior, and initiative in their education.

Speak Out

An anonymous tip line serving six Central Florida counties provides a live operator 24 hours a day, seven days a week for youth, parents and teachers who call to report crimes or potential crimes in the schools, neighborhoods or homes where young people live. If a tip leads to solving a crime or resolving an unsafe situation the tipster may be eligible for a cash reward.

  • Student Report Time:   12:30pm
  • Doors Open to the Public:  12:30pm
  • Parking: Graduates with Cap/Gown & Parking Pass - Lot F, All others Lot D
  • Parent Seating: Seating in the arena is general admission. There is disabled seating available in the arena.
  • Graduation Fee: $90 before Feb 1st, $120 after Feb 1st (Pay fees at www.herfforlando.com)
    • Lake Mary High School does not collect Graduation fees.
    • See “GRAD FEES” below for more information.

Graduation Tickets: Each graduate will be receiving 8 free tickets to the ceremony, with the opportunity to purchase up to two additional tickets for $1 each, on the day the cap and gown is distributed. If there are any extra tickets available, they will be sold on a first come first serve basis for $1 on the day before the ceremony. More information will be sent out closer to the ceremony date.

Seniors met with the Herff Jones representative on October 13th to review Graduation Commemorative items. If you misplaced the order form, additional order forms are available in the Administration Office or you may place your order by going online to www.herfforlando.com. Ordering instructions are located by clicking on this link (ordering instructions). You may also pay fees by contacting the Herff Jones Company by phone and delivering your order to their office. They can be reached at 407-647-4373.

The only package that is required for a student to participate in the Graduation Ceremony is the basic package for $90 called the "Cap, Gown, and Tassel" package shown on the brochure. This fee will increase to $120 on February 1, so act fast, don't delay! This base package includes your cap, gown, tassel, and all graduation related expenses (Arena Rental, Diploma, Senior Week Activities, etc.)This fee does not include the Homecoming Dance, Prom, or Grad Bash at Universal. The use of a cap and gown from another school or from a previous Lake Mary High School graduation will not be permitted.

Can't pay it all at once? Don't worry! With Herff Jones, you can make as many small payments as you would like! All graduation fees must be paid in full in order to receive your cap, gown and tickets to the ceremony.
